Created by Lamman Rucker and Koffee & Kompany of Dallas, Texas, forplai (pronounced For PLAY) is a natural 3-step body care regimen for women and couples.  The innovative line is a soft and subtle introduction to intimacy that encourages a meaningful connection between the mind, body and spirit.  Forplai is paraben-free, vegan friendly and color-free, but is much more than a body care maintenance system.  With each application, forplai reminds us to embrace our inner beauty and manifest the belief that we are special, sexy and loved.

Forplai was conceived by Rucker and Thai Morrison, Founder of Koffee & Kompany in 2008. Rucker, an outspoken health and wellness advocate, was interested in developing a collection made of natural ingredients that captured the male perspective on the scents and textures that attract men to women. After stumbling upon Morrison’s private Koffee Day Spa, Rucker was impressed with her handmade products and her unique approach to wellness.

“As a teenager I was fascinated with fragrances and bath and beauty products,” adds Morrison.  “But, as I got older and learned more about our skin, I found that many of the products on the market didn’t contain the best ingredients for proper nourishment. Not to mention there was a definite lack of available product options for African Americans,” says Morrison.  Koffee and Kompany’s commitment to achieving wellness from the inside – out and use of high quality natural ingredients made Morrsion the ideal collaborator to help bring Rucker’s vision to life.

Forplai will be unveiled in two phases and consist of the four distinct scents:  Passion, Purity, Peace and Power. Each scent will showcase a Body Scrub, Body Butter and Body Mist with captivating fragrances handpicked by Rucker. More important, the scents of forplai are all powerful affirmations personally chosen by Rucker because they embody the important traits he desires in a woman.

Phase One will introduce the scents of Passion and Purity in Fall 2010 and be available for purchase online. “My prayer is that everyone gets closer to discovering and attaining all of these wonderful traits everyday and that forplai is a big part of that process by reinforcing the concepts, recycling that positive energy and encouraging forplai into ones daily routine,” Rucker states.  Peace and Power will be introduced during Phase Two in Spring 2011.
